JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to manage various financial responsibilities effectively. This role is responsible for financial reporting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and collections, inventory standards, fixed assets and ledger account sub-schedules, account reconciliations and analysis, month end close, year-end audit and other regular functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned.
· Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and other invoices.
· Process inventory valuation reports and maintain inventory cutoff accuracy.
· Process monthly charges to customers and affiliates companies.
· Prepare journal entries and maintain accounting documents and records.
· Perform weekly check run, wire transfer and ACH payments.
· Month end bank reconciliation and AP Accrual journal entry.
· Communicate with customers to collect on past due invoices.
· Respond to vendor and customer inquiries.
· Reconcile Fixed Assets and monthly depreciation.
· Assist in all areas of accounting as needed.
· Assist with month end close.
· Provide internal and external audit assistance as needed.
· Communicate and work with all departments within the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum three years of accounting experience.
· Bachelor Degree in Accounting
· Experienced with completing and maintaining general ledger and financial reports; consolidating and analyzing monthly P & L and balance sheet forecasts.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Knowledge of Word Processing software; including Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
