Summary

Tamman is seeking a driven and meticulous Staff Accountant to help shape our finance team. This full-time salaried position will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, preparing accurate financial statements, and collaborating cross-functionally within the organization. Success in this role means exemplifying integrity, independence, and the highest attention to detail while contributing to the financial health of Tamman.   • Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting principles and standards
  • Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger postings, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and payroll support
  • Proficiency with accounting software, especially QuickBooks,
  • Other software expertise needed includes MS Office, especially Excel, Google Workspace, Monday.com, Jira, and similar. Filemaker experience is a plus.
  • 2+ years of professional accounting experience (ideally in a small- or mid-sized business)
  • Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience preparing or assisting in preparation of monthly financial close and preparation of month-end financial reports
  • Ability to support annual tax returns preparation and compliance activities
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Performance Priorities
Financial Stewardship: Ensure day-to-day transactions are recorded timely with accuracy and integrity to reflect Tamman’s commitment to financial transparency and compliance.
Ownership Over Work: Independently manage assigned responsibilities from receipt through resolution, proactively identifying discrepancies and pursuing clarity as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO, HR, Sales, Operations and other team members to support invoice preparation, payroll processing, budgeting efforts, and internal reporting.
Continuous Improvement: Seek ways to improve processes, reduce errors, and drive efficiency using technology and best practices.
Communication: Clearly present financial information and documentation in a way that is understandable to both finance and non-finance team members.
