We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with strong analytical skills to join our Accounting team. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and post journal entries for various accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards * Perform monthly account reconciliations including bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts * Assist with accounts payable and receivable process. * Record and file Sales & Use Tax * Review project cost and work with project teams to ensure accuracy  * Conduct regular reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly * Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including accruals and adjusting entries * Prepare detailed financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making * Assist with audit preparations and provide supporting documentation as required Ideal Candidate Profile * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or related industry * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (GAAP) * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software systems (SAGE experience preferred) * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify and resolve discrepancies * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Effective written and verbal communication skills * High level of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality * Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization * Someone who embodies our Core Values and represents our company with distinction What We Offer * Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package * Opportunity to work with industry-leading professionals in a growing company * Professional development and advancement opportunities * Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance * Company-paid life insurance policy and short-term disability coverage * 401(k) with up to 4% company match * Paid time off and holidays * A culture that values character, purpose, and innovation * Career growth potential with a rapidly expanding industry leader Our Core Values We show GRIT in our unwavering determination to get the job done with GRATITUDE driving us.
