This is a full-time role in our Lewisburg, WV office, with opportunity for 1 to 2 days a week of remote work once trained. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, including, but not limited to; managing accounts receivable, assist with cost accounting, and assisting in preparing month-end financial reports. As a Staff Accountant with Harvia, some of your duties will include: • Accounts Receivable • Accounts Payable • Cost Accounting • Assisting with preparing month-end and other financial reports • Fixed asset management and reconciliation within the accounting system • Assistance with period end closing and reporting • Assist with tax sale compliance with our partner • Manage and help maintain financial records. We expect our ideal Staff Accountant candidate to have the following skills and experience: • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred • 5+ years of accounting, finance, and auditing skills • Expertise in Financial Statements • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O highly preferred • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
