We’re partnering with a private equity backed company located in Atlanta on an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant. This is a newly created role, offering the chance to make an immediate impact and grow with the organization. Our client is seeking a motivated professional with a couple of years of experience in either public accounting or industry, ready to take the next step in their career.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience
• Public accounting and/ or GL accounting experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare journal entries
• Maintain and update all prepaid expense schedules
• Reconcile GL accounts and investigate any discrepancies
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review the P&L accounts
• Conduct variance analyses to monitor trends
• Prepare financial reports
