Description Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization. Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; preparing financial statements. Essential Functions (Duties that are fundamental to the role and must be performed on-site) Prepare for complete accounting cycle, including opening, posting entries to general ledger and month-end closing Prepare related party transaction reports and quarterly footnote reporting package for consolidation with HQ (in South Korea). Double check and prepare vouchers for vendor payments and employee travel and expense reimbursements Report sales tax returns to states authorities promptly and accurately Collaborate with tax agents and provide necessary information for annual tax return filing. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems. Responsible for training new employee on SAP and company’s accounting policies Collaborate with auditors and provide information for quarterly reviews and annual audit. Extract and analyze accounting transactions from SAP and prepare reports for Finance Manager. Ensure the company’s income and expenses are properly recorded in accordance with IFRS and U.S GAAP and company’s accounting policies. Accountable for reviewing and authorizing all bank transactions as a company’s authorized signer / security administrator. Provide assistance for government documentation. Maintain accruals on SAP. Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP SAP System Strong aptitude for data management / Working with numbers Strong aptitude for attention to detail Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to handle multiple priorities Accounting Reporting Skills Deadline-Oriented Time Management Confidentiality Productivity Verbal Communication Physical & On-Site Requirements This position is performed entirely on-site at the Houston, TX office. Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is required. Must be able to operate standard office equipment, handle and organize physical files, and move between departments. Must be able to lift and carry office supplies, files, and packages up to 20 lbs. Must be able to travel locally for bank deposits, vendor visits, or meetings as required by business needs. Requirements Qualifications Prefer 3+ years of professional experience related with finance departments and activities Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting or equivalent education.
