White Raven Accounting is a growing accounting firm seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join our team. We specialize in providing personalized accounting services to owners and professionals of private corporations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree or college diploma in accounting
  • CPA designation, or registered in CPA PEP Program preferred
  • Minimum of 1 years of public practice experience
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks online & desktop, Caseware, Profile Tax, Excel, and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and desire to help clients

Responsibilities
  • Prepare personal and corporate tax returns, including GST filings, T4/T5 slips, etc.
  • Prepare compilation engagements, including working papers, adjusting journal entries, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks, such as banking transaction review & categorizing, monthly reconciliations, government remittances, payroll, and other items based on client needs such as internal financial reporting and cash flow management
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
