REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 2+ years of public accounting or related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, regulatory reporting requirements, account analysis, and accounting policy
  • Advanced ability in Excel (experience with large ERP system a plus (NetSuite).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively both individually and as a team.
  • Quick learner and problem solver when faced with new issues or challenges.
  • A highly flexible, adaptive approach with the ability to multi-task.
  • Fosters teamwork across the organization to build partnerships and work in a collaborative global environment.
  • Passionate, critical thinker with a drive for excellence.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Foreign currency translation experience, a plus.
  • Prior experience working with and analyzing large volumes of data transactions.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare standard and non-standard journal entries with emphasis on gaining efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Support annual internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, and financial statements.
  • Help define, document, and execute proper internal controls for accounting functions.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures and prepare respective financial reports, including reconciliations of various G/L accounts.
  • Responsible for appropriate month- and quarter-end accruals.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, as needed.
  • Recommend improvements to current accounting processes to enhance and streamline the department.
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary.
  • Collaborate with international teams to streamline monthly reporting.
