Staff Analyst Logistics Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced customs expert to manage all customs clearance activities, ensure compliance with local and international customs regulations, and optimize customs processes to support the company’s import/export operations. The role will be responsible for broker management, customs account book management, accurate declaration, and liaising with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely clearance of goods. Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Customs Management, or a related field. Minimum [3-5] years of hands-on experience in customs clearance, preferably in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, retail, logistics]. Professional customs certification (e.g., Customs Broker License, AEO certification, or relevant local customs qualifications) is preferred. In-depth knowledge of local and international customs regulations, HS code classification, import/export procedures, and trade compliance. Proficiency in customs management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS, or local customs electronic declaration systems) and MS Office (Excel, Word,Outlook). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Problem-solving ability to resolve customs clearance issues, discrepancies, or delays efficiently. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized and self-motivated with a proactive approach to compliance and process improvement. Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining compliance with all customs laws and regulations. Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments to achieve operational goals.
