How you will make an impact Lead the design and implementation of complex, high-impact technical projects across multiple teams Set and uphold the highest standards for code quality, testing, reliability, and maintainability Architect scalable, resilient systems that enable product innovation and long-term growth Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve challenging technical and organizational problems with clarity and empathy Mentor and coach engineers at all levels, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement across the team What you need to succeed 7+ years of experience building and scaling backend applications using a modern web framework (we use Python + Django, Node.js) Proven ability to lead large, complex projects from design to production Deep understanding of system architecture, performance optimization, and distributed systems Experience guiding engineering standards, reviewing designs, and influencing technical direction across teams Excellent communication skills with a track record of effective cross-team collaboration Fluent spoken and written English It would be considered a plus: Experience with Apache Airflow or other task workflow systems Experience with data pipelines Infrastructure as Code and familiarity with AWS Frontend experience (we use React) Benefits 25 days annual leave Enhanced private medical, dental and vision insurance plans Yearly wellbeing budget or Multisport card Personal budget for learning and books Employee Assistance Program and other wellbeing perks Office kitchen and fun area with snacks and beverages Regular social events Friendly office culture Hybrid office We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
