We are investing in design automation in a big way in order to make it as seamless as possible for our engineers to design and implement the next generations of our product line.
As our new CAD DV Engineer, you will define the design verification flow, lead EDA tools evaluation process and roll-out, architect and implement verification framework.
You know from past experience what an efficient design verification system should look like. At Untether AI, you’ll have an opportunity to champion infrastructure and methodology improvements. The successful candidate will have prior experience in both design verification and CAD areas.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of experience:
  • Hands-on knowledge of RTL Simulation and Formal Verification flows
  • Knowledge of UVM and SystemVerilog
  • Experience with various verification tasks - test plan development, test bench development, simulation/waveform debug, coverage analysis
  • Working with EDA tools in the design verification industry
  • Developing flows and scripts to support EDA tools
  • Experience driving vendors AEs to resolve technical issues
  • Excellent programming and Unix skills (Python, Makefiles, Shell, TCL)
  • Minimum BS degree in EE/CE/CS, or equivalent

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience developing custom scripts and software to improve team efficiency beyond what off the shelf EDA tools can provide
  • Evaluating, installing, and supporting tools to meet team needs
  • Emulation and FPGA prototyping
  • Gate-level simulation
  • Portable Stimulus Standard (PSS)
  • AI assist verification tools/techniques
  • Knowledge of common design flows:
  • Digital Circuit Design: Synthesis, Static Timing Analysis (DC/PT/Spyglass)
  • CI/CD regressions management with Jenkins or similar tools
