Role Summary:
Regular software updates are at the core of RV Tech’s identity as a company that supports and improves its products long after the first sale, as well as core to how we develop and iterate within RV Tech engineering. Our OTA Cloud team is therefore also at the core of this identity by developing and maintaining the full stack infrastructure required to enable hundreds of thousands of updates every day consistently and reliably. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our OTA Cloud development team as an embedded DevOps engineer to build and sustain the infrastructure that enables us to send updates to thousands of customers every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using Terraform/Terragrunt to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Manage and monitor live service systems, ensuring scalability and zero downtime.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform/Terragrunt.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CDExperience with live service systems, including scalability and zero downtime requirements.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with Gitlab Pipelines.
- Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies.
