Required Qualifications 7–10 years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience managing Azure production environments. Deep Kubernetes Expertise: Proven track record of managing AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) at scale, including cluster upgrades, ingress management, and persistent storage. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced proficiency in Terraform for provisioning complex cloud architectures. Configuration Management: Expert-level experience with Ansible for OS-level orchestration, patching, and maintaining "Golden Images." Day 2 Operations: Demonstrated experience in the "keep the lights on" phase, performance tuning, cost optimization, and resolving production-grade security vulnerabilities. CI/CD Mastery: Experience building and maintaining pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins) that integrate security scanning and automated testing. Networking & Security: Strong understanding of Azure networking (VNETs, Peering, Private Links) and security frameworks (RBAC, Azure Policy, Key Vault). Preferred Qualifications Azure Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. Monitoring & Observability: Experience setting up and managing Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Prometheus/Grafana stacks to proactively catch "Day 2" issues. Team Leadership: Experience acting as a technical lead or "player-coach" who enjoys documenting processes to prevent single points of failure. Technical Communication: Ability to explain complex infrastructure concepts to non-technical stakeholders or internal customers. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Equivalent professional experience (10+ years) and high-level industry certifications may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
