Job Summary As a Junior Consultant, you will play an integral role in technical development, implementation, and managed service projects for Oracle’s digital banking solutions. Guided by senior team members, you’ll contribute to solution analysis, programming, testing, and client support—gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies while building expertise in the financial services domain. Qualifications & Skills Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 1–4 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in software development, implementation, or support (preferably for core banking applications). Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, JavaScript, XML, and familiarity with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (18c/12c). Exposure to banking domain concepts and digital banking applications. Experience with application deployment and troubleshooting, especially on Oracle Weblogic. Knowledge of release management and source control tools. Good communication and documentation skills in English; proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to work offshore or travel to client locations, and to undertake Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE technical certifications as required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, team-oriented environment, including shift rotations. Good-to-Have: Exposure to software development best practices, cloud/SaaS deployments, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and testing tools. Familiarity with Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, middleware (e.g., Oracle Fusion SOA Suite). Experience in client interaction and solution presentations. Awareness of banking terminologies and regulatory requirements. Self-Assessment Questions Do you have hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and have you used these technologies within the context of enterprise or banking applications? Can you describe past projects where you supported implementation, customization, or troubleshooting of financial services software (such as Oracle Digital Banking products)? Are you familiar with deployment, maintenance, and issue tracking on platforms like Oracle Weblogic or similar application servers? How comfortable are you working collaboratively in a fast-paced, rotational-shift environment, often under tight deadlines or changing priorities? Are you able and willing to travel to client locations or undertake required technical certifications for Oracle banking products?
