JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Staff Development Coordinator/QA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Staff Development:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for staff members.
  • Conduct regular in-service training sessions to maintain and improve skills.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Identify and address training needs through ongoing assessment.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Oversee the quality assurance program to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality issues.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor performance and trends.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular surveys and assessments to evaluate resident satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in a long-term care setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
