Overview The Staff Development Coordinator-RN is a clinically competent nurse who assumes responsibility for the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the staff development program in accordance with current existing Federal, State, Benedictine, and community standards. Responsibilities Plan, develop and educate staff on all Federal, State and community education requirements. Establish and implement a comprehensive orientation program for community personnel. Plan, implement and evaluate an ongoing education program for nurses, CNA-NARs and other community personnel based on educational needs as identified in performance reviews, education needs survey, solicits input from managers concerning training needs, and new topics in healthcare. Develop, maintain and secure records of education for all associates. Drive the process of developing, implementing and evaluating community goals, objectives, standards of practice and care, and community policies and procedures. Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company. Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
