Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Staff/Sr. DQE Engineer located in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site. DQE Engineer will work on Reliability Energy Storage product such as Capacitor Energy Storage (CESS), Battery Back-up Unit (BBU), Automotive EVSEs What a typical day looks like: Electrical/Electronic Component Stress/ Derating Analysis reference to IPC9592 Latest revision or follow customer specification. Electrolytic Capacitor life Calculation (E-cap life) per vendor specification Reliability Prediction MTBF, parts count and part stress per Telcordia SR-332, International Standard if applicable. Mechanical testing such as Shock, vibration, drop, package carton shock and vibration Environmental testing High and low temperature, humidity, Altitude testing HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) Generate DQE test plan follow customer requirement or Flex Power System. If any observation / issue found before, during and after any DQE testing, need to collaborate with EE / ME and close the issue. Generate DQE reports and analyze the result. Coordinate with 3rd party laboratory for other DQE testing if not available in-house Attend Design team reviews, kick off meeting and other customer required meeting The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in power electronics qualification/reliability test BBU, SMPS, Automotive products (EVSEs) and others. Familiar with Reliability and Environmental testing Good communication skills and excellent relational skills. Can work overtime if needed and willing to travel incase. PSU Troubleshooting, diagnostics and the ability to train others. Has the ability to communicate with customers.
