Job Title :- Staff Engineer
Location :- Manyata Tech Park , Bangalore
Business & Team :- RM Technology - Engineering: Data Provisioning and Enrichment

Impact & contribution :

• Possesses advanced, hands-on technical experience working in a public cloud environment either in AWS (preferred) or Azure.
• Are passionate about Cloud/DevOps/Automation and thrive on solving complex problems and opportunities in a systematic approach.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• 8 - 10 years of practical, hands-on industry experience in a senior role.
• Advanced experience with AWS, particularly CloudFormation and EKS.
• Advanced experience with designing, building & optimising application containers.
• Advanced experience with enabling and transforming CI/CD practices.
• Advanced experience with CI/CD tooling (Git, TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.) or equivalent.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices and principles.
• Experience automating repetitive tasks using Ansible, Python, shell scripting, etc.
• Experience decomposing complex problems down into manageable components.
• Experience reviewing proposed code changes and recommending alterations.
• Able and willing to participate in hands-on configuration activities.

QUALIFICATION:-

• Degree in Engineering / Computer Science or a related discipline
• Minimum 8+ years of Experience in IT Industry

• Undertake solution design and engineering of reusable IT services, to provide business value across multiple programmes and initiatives.
• Provide technical consulting and advice to projects to ensure alignment to strategy, architectures, and utilisation of standardised IT services.
• Practice engineering principles, patterns, standards and guidelines across projects and programmes.
• Analyse a wide range of technical data within systems and processes, to anticipate and address problems, or identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify and mitigate issues or risks associated with design or solution proposals.
• Facilitate and contribute to transitioning target architecture from current to desired state.
• Provide specialist knowledge on engineering solutions, and emergent IT services that may benefit the Group’s strategic direction.
• Advise on approach to service engineering and solution design, recommending alternative approaches where required.
• Software development according to program specifications and as directed.
• Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of software builds and releases to development and test environments.
• Advanced troubleshooting of environment and deployment issues.
• Engage with project stakeholders to provide system support.
• Implement system updates into production in accordance with specific production readiness and change management protocol.
