Staff Design Evaluation Engineer- Automotive Networking team Job Description Analog Devices, Inc. are looking for an experienced Design Evaluation Engineer to join our Automotive Networking team in Limerick, Ireland. The successful candidate will bring expertise in FPGA/ASIC evaluation methodologies, software development, test automation and embedded systems. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, test methodologies, and specifications. Develop and implement evaluation platforms. Develop, execute, analyze, and debug complex silicon/FPGA test cases. Develop system level hardware, software and supporting collateral as required. Perform silicon measurements and characterization using lab equipment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in evaluation of FPGA prototypes and bench testing of ASICs. Proficiency in programming skills in C/Python. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and root cause analysis skills Must be a demonstrated team player with great communication skills. Familiarity with Ethernet/networking concepts. Experience with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART Experience of working with Audio (PDM) and Video (RGB8) Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 7 years' experience in Design Evaluation or similar role. Strong problem-solving skills and be proficient in capturing, interpreting, and presenting data, both in-person and through written technical reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with effective teamwork and leadership capabilities. For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
