Job Description Understanding system specifications, Firmware and memory requirements Understanding on NAND firmware architecture and algorithms Coming up with creative scenarios, test design, development, implementation and deployment. Making sure firmware meets the quality and performance specifications of the product. Leads reviews with all the program members to update or changes quality standards when necessary Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering or equivalent required. Minimum 5 years of working experience in firmware development, embedded systems, or software quality development. Hands-on experience in object-oriented programming, Python, data structures, and algorithms. Capable of quickly learning new firmware, hardware, systems, tools, methodologies, and complex code. Strong aptitude and penchant for problem solving and complexity analysis. Ability to effectively manage projects and tasks to deliver on deadlines and commitments. Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication. Comfortable working in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment. Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to work well with people. Experience as a software engineer, designer, or in a technical leadership capacity. DESIRED SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE Added advantage if you have the following: Familiarity with microcontroller architecture (ARM or ARC), embedded systems, and RTOS. Knowledge of SAS, SATA, and PCIe interfaces. Experience using bus analyzers, emulators, and other firmware debugging tools. Knowledge in data analytics, data visualization, or machine learning.
