Verdantas is seeking a Staff Engineer I. This position will be located at Marysville, CA.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• 0-2 years of experience in civil engineering
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred
• EIT Preferred
• Familiarity with ArcGIS software is preferred
• Able to travel for field assignments daily
• Ability to work extended hours to meet deadlines, as needed
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• Assist Project Managers with technical and civil engineering design
• Design using AutoCAD, Civil3D, and hydrology/hydraulics software
• Prepare permit and construction drawings, calculations, and reports
• Perform engineering work for solar and natural gas land development projects
• Conduct site investigations and assess existing conditions
• Use GPS-enabled data collectors for data analysis and mapping
• Support feasibility determinations for various infrastructure types
• Observe construction, document progress, and identify deviations
• Assist in preparing Contract Documents and managing submittals/RFIs
• Provide technical support to project managers
• Perform field sampling, monitoring, and construction oversight
• Handle administrative duties related to project management
