Management of PWA Area for final packed audit, in order to ensure that the products meet the quality standards according to Global Aesthetic Standard – Vitreous Division.
Responsible for % PWA and UFR indicators, ensuring to meet the objectives planned. Weekly and monthly reports must be delivered to Industrial Engineering and Quality Manager including preventive and corrective actions to meet the goals.
Carry out weekly and monthly meetings with General Supervisor of FPP, Industrial Engineering and Quality Manager and Sr. Global Manager of Quality to execute action plans to reduce % PWA and UFR indicators.
Organize weekly PWA Management Audit with all General Supervisors and Managers, to audit current production pieces and establish action plans to improve the quality of the production.
Responsible of certification of 1F and 2F Inspectors of FPP Area, according to the Global Aesthetic Standard – Vitreous Division and validate what has been learned through an R&R Test.
Manage and coordinate Incoming Inspection Area, to guarantee that direct materials are inspected according to technical drawings and no critical characteristics are being affected before releasing to Production.
Manage of Quality Laboratory, ensure that a daily plan is being followed, in which we test current production pieces and new products in dimensional and performance criteria.
Ensure that standard procedures are being followed on Quality Laboratory when performing dimensional and performance tests.
Coordinate product verification on Quality Lab, for new products introduction, dimensional and performance test. Working alongside NDP and NPI engineers.
Work alongside with NPI Engineer to analyze those pieces that are outside the Kohler standard and propose a solution or improvement for the product and/or to the current process.
Manage internal calibration service for all the equipment that is critical to the plant and establish a verification frequency depending on the equipment wear.
Provide support to all areas in the plant to reduce quality defects and guarantee best practices are being implemented.
Ensure that SOP are standardize and being followed in PWA, Incoming Inspection and QA Laboratory.
Develop associates for improved level of performance in current role, a higher level of engagement, and for promotion capability in the future, complying with Mexican government requirements.
Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities established for this position.
