JOB DESCRIPTION:

Supports systems integration, technical design, model-based design, systems analysis for supportability and effectiveness of technological systems, systems analysis for safety of system, systems research, systems verification or validation planning, architecture development, and requirements for commercial, industrial and governmental purposes. Integrates system activities to support the aforementioned tasks. Integration and analysis applies to the greater systems, interfaces between the systems and subsystems, and systems and components.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor"s degree in computer science, mechanical, or electrical engineering
• 10+ years” experience in LabVIEW development and (DAQ) Data acquisition hardware

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified LabVIEW Architect current or previous
• Certified LabVIEW Developer current or previous
• Demonstrated experience supporting a project from concept to implementation
• Demonstrated experience with data acquisition.
• Proficiency LabVIEW.
• Experience with Windchill preferred.
• Proficiency with hardware communication RS-485, USB, GPIB, Modbus, Ethernet.
• Proficiency in Microsoft O365, including Excel, PowerPoint, & OneNote.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of HVACR, and GAS furnace testing is preferred
• Experience with ASHRAE, ARI, DOE, and UL testing is preferred.
• Experience with implementing web applications is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.

• Advise and give guidance on best practices for hardware and software solutions.
• Lead project LabVIEW development effort.
• Collect specifications related to new development efforts.
• Develop hardware driver interfaces for DAQ hardware.
• Be an internal business unit resource for laboratory and data management.
• Manage and track resources internal and external through all stages of development and implementation process.
• Travel up to 15% including but not limited to North America, Europe, and Asia.
