  French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Staff Engineer with for our Municipal Services Department in Wall, NJ  Responsibilities * Assist with the planning, design, and preparation of engineering plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for municipal infrastructure projects. * Perform engineering calculations related to grading, stormwater management, drainage, water distribution, sanitary sewer systems, and roadway design. * Prepare permit applications and coordinate with local, county, state, and regulatory agencies. * Support project managers in project delivery, scheduling, budgeting, and client communications. * Conduct field investigations, site visits, and construction observations as needed. * Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to prepare design documents. * Assist in the preparation of technical reports, feasibility studies, and grant applications. * Coordinate with internal disciplines including environmental, transportation, geotechnical, landscape architecture, and water resources teams. * Review contractor submittals, respond to requests for information (RFIs), and support construction administration activities. * Participate in client meetings, public presentations, and stakeholder coordination efforts. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. * Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months. * 0–2 years of experience in municipal, civil/site, transportation, or infrastructure engineering. * Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and engineering design software. * Understanding of municipal infrastructure design principles and applicable codes and regulations. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple assignments.
