Strong working experience in Automation Testing. Strong knowledge of automation testing lifecycle and methodologies. Hands on working experience in the E-commerce domain. Proficiency in drafting comprehensive automation test plans to ensure complete test coverage and software quality. Hands-on experience in developing and implementing effective testing strategies and performing debugging to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of software applications. Expertise in performance testing (JMeter). Proficiency in API testing (Postman, REST Assured). Hands-on experience in Web, Android, and iOS application testing. Strong understanding of OOPS concepts and programming (preferably Java). Good knowledge of SQL queries for database validation. Experience in Selenium WebDriver for automation testing. Familiarity with CI/CD processes. Good to have: Exposure to other automation tools/frameworks. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across global teams. RESPONSIBILITIES: Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analyzing the client’s needs in the context of the project. Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to realize it. Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets. Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities. Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs. Creating, understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it. Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement. Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations. Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs. Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken. Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Responsibilities
The Staff Engineer, QA Automation will understand functional requirements and analyze client needs to define solutions. They will also lead UAT and production rollouts while addressing issues and providing feedback to team members.
