Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Participates in long term planning of technology, roadmaps and involved in strategic product decisions Perform NAND flash memory-based storage systems design, analysis, integration and validation from product definition, requirement analysis, planning, development, system validation, production, and release Developing memory system specifications & algorithms, test objectives Responsible for NAND flash system level behavior characterizations Ability to work with other functional teams such as memory technology, firmware, firmware validation, device, architecture teams to develop storage products Provides feedback on new system features for next generation memory developments Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in EE, ECE, E&I, VLSI, or other relevant field 7+ years (BS), 4+ years (MS), or PhD experience in NAND flash–based or related system design Knowledge of NAND storage domain, Embedded system design and development, system architecture Knowledge of Semiconductor physics and Computer Architecture is a plus Knowledge of programming (e.g. C, C++, Python) is a plus. Knowledge of flash media management techniques is a plus Knowledge of storage interfaces such as SATA, USB, SD, UFS and PCIe is a plus Experience in bus logic capture and analysis is a plus Exceptional written, report creation, verbal communication, and cross functional co-ordination skills Strong team player who can collaborate with colleagues Additional Information Sandisk thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
