Description
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following: Assist in solving SSD problems and providing test support; be the central point of contact during critical SSD issues between customer and factory teams, work with multi-functional groups until issue resolution has been delivered to the customer Work with marketing and development teams to evaluate feasibility of specific new products or features and ensure customer specifications are met. Coordinate SSD lab-related activities that support the design-in/validation process, including schematic/board layout reviews, design validation and system level testing Bachelor's degree in engineering 5 years of experience in storage (HDD and/or SSD) field applications, solutions architecture, product design/engineering, product, test, system validation, and/or product applications engineering. Systems experience, including Datacenter/Compute architecture, systems design, test and troubleshooting. Hands-on system integration experience with Storage products including HDD and/or SSD, interface technologies (SATA, NVME, CXL), performance benchmarks (FIO, IOMETER, etc.) and operating systems (Linux, kvm, esxi) Ability to engage customers at all levels of their organization, build relationships and negotiate solutions to sophisticated technical and business challenges. Demonstrated technical curiosity with proven ability to trouble shoot and innovate. Excellent verbal, written, and customer communications skills. Ability to travel for up to 25% of the time. Exposure to other memory technologies including DRAM, CXL and HBM. Master's degree in electrical engineering or related
