Description Duties Perform field geotechnical engineering observation work for ENGEO projects working under the guidance of industry-leading geotechnical engineers and geologists: explore logging, deep foundation construction, shoring installations, ground improvement, grading operations, and more. Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, city inspectors, project managers (locally and in other regional offices) and other internal team members. Perform well-designed analytical and project administrative responsibilities with direction and encouragement from project management. Transportation/delivery of samples for laboratory testing as needed. Use GIS technology and smartphone/tablet to create accurate and detailed documentation during the testing and observation process. Learn increasingly more complex, non-routine tasks with review and oversight from experienced engineers and geologists.
