The Role We are seeking a Full-Time Staff Accountant / Financial Accountant to join our accounting team in Memphis. This role reports to the Controller and works closely with the Accounting Manager to support daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and month-end close activities across multiple entities. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career accountant looking to gain hands-on experience in a structured, team-oriented environment. What You’ll Do Assist with month-end close and financial statement preparation Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations Complete weekly bank reconciliations Maintain prepaid expense schedules Assist with sales tax filings and commission calculations Help research and resolve accounting discrepancies Support ad hoc accounting and reporting tasks Requirements What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field One of the following 1–3 years of accounting experience in a structured environment, or Strong academic performance in accounting coursework (3.0+ GPA preferred for recent graduates) Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and follow established processes Strong Excel skills High attention to detail and willingness to learn Accounting software experience a plus (Dynamics GP preferred) Restaurant or hospitality experience a plus Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off 401k
