We are looking for talented individuals who enjoy creating firmware for networking products, prototyping concepts, and investigating in new technologies. In this position, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust networking products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Be proficient and expert in Networking code related development:1. Networking firmware/software development/maintenance 2. Datacenter switch platform development3. Clarify and fix issues to join code modification/maintenance. 4. Design document writing5. Location: Zonghe/BadeQualifications: 7+ of the following requirements should be matched • MS in EE or CS/CE preferred • Strong programming skills in C/C++, Linux Shell and Java Scripts. • Experience in switch development for 10+ years, Data Center switch is preferred • Experience in embedded or Linux vulnerability discovery or malware detection. . • Knowledge in L2/L3 protocols: VLAN, MSTP, VxLAN, MC-LAG, OSPF, BGP. • Knowledge in chipset driver, switch peripheral I/O, and bootloader: ONIE, ONL. • Knowledge in open source development: SONiC. • Knowledge in network topology application/configuration.
Responsibilities
The Staff Firmware Engineer will develop and maintain networking firmware to maximize the performance of in-house server hardware. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust networking products and resolve technical issues.
