JOB OVERVIEW:

Are you an expert game engine developer looking for an opportunity to do something a bit different? We are looking for people who enjoy travel and variety in their working lives to be part of a team of engineers, travelling across Europe to work with our games industry partners to facilitate their adoption of our technology and assist in the development of their games to utilise our latest AI graphics techniques.
You would be helping build a newly crafted 4-person team consisting of two expert game developers and two junior games developers, being supported in your work by an equivalent bench team based in China, and by our graphics research and performance tooling teams in the UK. Working at the groundbreaking of graphics techniques and game development, you would be driving the future of gaming.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Game Engine development experience (e.g. Snowdrop, Unreal, Unity)
  • Graphics profiling knowledge
  • Modern graphics API knowledge (Vulkan, DirectX12)
  • Shader development and optimization skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • The ability to integrate yourself as a guest in a new team and share your knowledge while respecting the domain and skills of the team you are advising
  • High debugging skills for both CPU and GPU
  • Experience in working with large codebases, both adding features and maintaining

“NICE TO HAVE” SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Knowledge of emerging AI graphics techniques
  • Games industry experience, ideally as part of an engine / CoreTech team
  • Familiarity with CI pipelines and validating / testing the codebase
  • Leadership and management experience
Responsibilities
  • Travel across Europe and the UK, supporting our partners in the games industry in their use of Arm technology
  • Collaborating closely with your counterpart team in China to share knowledge
  • Mentoring and coaching of junior team members
  • Sharing lessons learned and providing feedback to our research and tooling development teams, driving our future roadmaps
