Job Description The Staff Geologist (Mining & Infrastructure) plays a pivotal role in supporting Fugro-Suhaimi’s consulting ambitions in Saudi Arabia. This position is critical for delivering technical excellence, supporting project delivery, and ensuring compliance with international standards in the rapidly expanding mining and infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Identify and evaluate mineral deposits and infrastructure geoscience consulting works. Project Delivery: Lead and support multiple major projects within different geoscience domains, ensuring efficient, compliant, and impactful outcomes. Advanced Geoscience Application: Apply advanced techniques such as remote sensing, geochemical surveys, structural mapping, and data analytics to optimize exploration and reduce project risk. Field & Office Flexibility: Work flexibly between field (site) and office environments, supporting project planning, execution, and reporting. Knowledge Transfer: Mentor junior staff, strengthen the internal geoscience group, and foster a culture of technical excellence. Client Engagement: Participate in client workshops, technical presentations, and bid defenses, building trust and credibility. Bid Support: Contribute to high-quality, data-driven technical proposals and participate in strategic client engagement during bidding processes. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Geoscience disciplines Experience 6-8 years in mining, structural geology, and geohazards. Proficiency in GIS applications (e.g., ESRI’s ArcGIS, QGIS) with Spatial, 3D, and geostatistical extensions. Experience with Leapfrog Geo or Works. Experience with spatial analysis and cartographic design. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus. Proven track record in target generation, site investigation, geohazard investigations, and resource estimation. Demonstrated ability to deliver technical leadership and support business growth. Experience with advanced geoscience techniques and data analytics. Strong communication and client engagement skills. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of remote sensing and data visualization techniques InSar Analysis. Experience with Micromine. Responsibilities
