We’re hiring a senior-level engineer to lead the design and operation of advanced storage infrastructure supporting high-performance computing environments. This role reports to the Infrastructure Lead and will be instrumental in building scalable, resilient systems across multiple global sites.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in storage engineering, preferably in high-throughput or HPC environments
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade or open-source storage platforms (e.g., WekaIO, VAST Data, DDN, LUSTRE, MinIO)
• Strong understanding of storage protocols (e.g., NFS, S3) and technologies such as NVMe over Fabrics
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and system health monitoring
• Familiarity with data center operations and infrastructure tooling
• Experience with Kubernetes storage integrations (CSI drivers)

• Architect and implement scalable storage frameworks (including SAN, NAS, and object-based systems) optimized for compute-intensive applications
• Develop and oversee strategies for data protection, including replication, backup, and recovery
• Continuously monitor system performance and capacity, applying optimizations to ensure reliability and efficiency
• Work closely with compute and networking teams to ensure cohesive system performance
• Research and integrate emerging technologies to maintain a forward-looking infrastructure
