Description JOB SUMMARY: Noninvasive cardiologist for primarily outpatient setting to replacing retiring physician. Practice consists of one physician and two Advanced Practice Providers. Responsibilities include general cardiology clinic, EKG interpretation, ambulatory monitoring, and transthoracic echo with potential for nuclear stress testing and stress echo. Device management skills a plus. There is a strong relationship with referral centers with limited inpatient and ED coverage. No night or weekend call. DEPT. SCOPE OF SERVICE: The BMH Medical Group provides medical services in various specialties and offices including Internal and Family Medicine, Post-Acute Care, Centralized Scheduling, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Cardiology, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Podiatry, Urology and General Surgery. The practices are staffed by clinicians (Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Certified Nurse Midwives) who are supported by clinical staff (RNs, LPNs and Medical Assistants) and clerical staff (Patient Service Representatives). Hours vary by practice but are generally 8:00 - 5:00 Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school Board certification or eligibility for certification by the appropriate governing body Valid Vermont medical license to practice Valid Vermont DEA license CPR for Healthcare Providers Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to effectively assess and treat conditions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams. Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety. Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated with emerging trends and research.
