Company: Qualcomm China Job Area: Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group, Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group > Product Marketing General Summary: Responsibilities include: Drives smartphone chipset design-win activities and customer engagements in China. Responsible for managing product definition with QC global teams including SD PdM and SD/QIPL engineering team Responsible for managing China customer specific product requirement on HW/SW features, schedule etc. together with technology PdMs. Collect China customer roadmap and activities as well as competitor readiness, highlight the risk to management team. Work closely with China Sales team, Customer Engineering team as well as 3rd party partners etc. to create supporting and collaborative QC team working relationships to carry out and support the smartphone chipset strategic plan Requirements: 5+ years of experience in smartphone industry and well understanding of chipset HW/SW related technology 10+ years of customer facing experience in Product Management or Business Development or Engineering in related industry. Good problem analysis and summarization capability, as well as good expression skills Strong platform ownership and the ability to independently drive different teams to collaborate and achieve goals Focusing on customer needs while also balancing internal chip design and customer requirements Ability to travel Education: Bachelor's degree or above in a technical field or engineering. MBA or other Master's degree in technical or engineering is a plus. Experience in Semiconductor mobile is a strong plus. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience. OR Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 8+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience. OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience. *Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
