The Staff Network Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is to work closely with global network architecture team, engineering staff and management. This position will interact with the various business units to gather requirements and provide solutions to meet emerging business needs. This position is part of the Global Network Services (GNS) team and report to the IT Network Manager. The position is at our Clare site and is an onsite role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Collaborate with IT leadership and Business partners as the expert networking resource in the EMEAI region to assess, recommend, project plan and implement network solutions in support of business initiatives. Lead and control the implementation of network infrastructure, installing, configuring, and supporting equipment from leading vendors like Juniper, Palo Alto, HP, and cloud providers to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations, self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to deliver on objective with minimal supervision. Extensively use Juniper Mist AI Assurance tool to streamline configuration management while using machine learning to predict failures, automate troubleshooting, and dynamically optimize resources for proactive network management and superior user experiences. The essential requirements of the job include: Manage multiple projects with effective project and time management against specific timelines, maintaining flexibility to travel and work non-standard hours to accomplish goals and liaise with the US West Coast team. Hands-on working experience and proven troubleshooting skill in Juniper networking (switches, firewalls, MIST wifi), BGP, OSPF, network layer2 protocols and Aruba (formerly Silverpeak) SDWAN. Troubleshoot network issues, from routing issues to equipment failures. Strong Juniper Mist AI Assurance know-how to streamline configuration management, automate troubleshooting and proactive network management. Document network configurations, processes, and procedures. Bachelor’s degree or higher with 9+ years of network hands-on experience and Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE certification is required.
