We are looking for driven individuals to be part of HSA’s Blood Resources Division- Blood bank team, where you will play a key role in securing the nations’ blood supply. In this front-facing role, the individuals will perform essential blood collection duties in a dynamic and close-knit team. [What you will be working on] Responsibilities:- Working with the blood collection team(s) to supervise operations of Whole Blood and Apheresis collection programmes Whole Blood: Collection of blood in its complete form, not separated into its various components. Apheresis: An automated process where plasma, platelets or red cells in the blood drawn is separated and remaining components are returned to donor during the donation process Provide blood donation nursing care, perform donor phlebotomy Assist in the management of blood donor complications within set standard operating procedures to ensure the safety of the national blood supply What you can look forward to: Comprehensive training and extensive Learning and Development opportunities and career progression prospects for all qualifying officers A competitive total package comprising of basic salary, shift allowances, bonus payouts and other staff benefits. [What we are looking for] Requirements: - Minimum Diploma with relevant work experience in recognised healthcare setting(s) as a registered Nurse Must hold valid Nursing registration certificate with Singapore Nursing Board Candidates with requisite qualification/certification but no working experience may also apply Candidates with Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with relevant clinical component or other post-registration diploma in healthcare would be considered for senior nursing positions Team members will be rostered to support morning, afternoon and weekend shifts, across a 5-day work week and are not required to perform night shift.
