Are you an experienced Nurse looking for an opportunity to grow, develop, or take your career in a new direction?
We are excited to offer 2 x 12 month fixed term positions within Ward 9 – Respiratory Medicine at Wexham Park Hospital, part of the Medicine Directorate.
Ward 9 has 38 beds specialising in the care of patients with respiratory conditions, including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease (ILD), and more. Our team also provides expert care for patients with tracheostomies, laryngectomies, home NIV machines, and chest drains.
At Wexham Park Hospital, we are committed to professional growth and development. With the support of our dedicated Practice Development Nurse, you will have access to ongoing training and skill enhancement through the nationally recognised Skills Competency Framework.

  • Provision of nursing care for patients with a variety of acute condition
  • Co-ordinating the care of patients across the multi-disciplinary team
  • Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual patient care with minimal supervision
  • To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that treatments are correctly carried out in accordance with given policy
