Description

Provides direct patient care and coordinates patient care-related activities using the scientific process of nursing. Nursing care is given to Paediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. Conducts various neurology and pain management procedures, assists Nerve Conduction Studies/Electromyography (NCS/EMG) and Evoke Potential testing. Supports during Lumbar Puncture/Drain procedures and assists with Botox Injections for Migraine, Botox Injections for Spasticity, and Trigger Points Injection procedures. Helps in performing Occipital Nerve Blocks, Carpal Tunnel Injections, and Steroid Injections using Ultrasound. Performs wound dressing and change procedures, as well as conducting suture removal, showcasing a diverse skill set in aiding patients undergoing neurologic and pain management interventions.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care and coordinates nursing activities for diverse patient populations across neurology and pain management departments. Assists with specialized procedures including nerve conduction studies, ultrasound-guided injections, and wound management.
