JOB SUMMARY

The Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the nursing home. The successful candidate will provide holistic, person-centred care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with NMBI guidelines and best practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans in collaboration with the care team and residents’ families
• Administer medications safely and maintain accurate nursing documentation
• Monitor and respond to changes in residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to healthcare assistants and other team members
• Ensure compliance with infection control, health & safety, and all relevant regulations
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for residents and staff alike
