Description:
The Role of the Staff Nurse within the PreAMS Department is to support the Service Lead and Directorate Management team in the delivery of the Service Level Agreement for anaesthetics and theatres.The Staff Nurse works closely with the clinical team in the delivery of evidence based practice; ensuring patients receive safe and effective patient care to meet the Directorate & Trust safety agenda and matching parent and family expectations.The Nursing team work in close partnership with the Consultants and Nurse Practitioners to ensure all patients receive a quality service when accessing the Service and will develop new Patient pathways, PGDs guidelines and policies to support this working with the LeadNurse for Quality for the are
