Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications to patients and provide appropriate counseling on medication use
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Review and interpret prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and potential adverse effects
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards in the practice of pharmacy
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of medication dispensing
- Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients as needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medication administration, and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications and reviewing prescription orders
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
