In addition to supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, you are accountable for oversight and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy when you are the pharmacist on duty. A Day in the Life · Patient Safety - ensure safe and effective pharmacy services at the top of your teams and your pharmacy’s license. This includes, but is not limited to, ?lling prescriptions, counseling patients on their medication, MTM services, and vaccine administration. · Regulatory Requirements – ensure all board of pharmacy, dea, hrsa, 340B, and other regulatory obligations are practiced routinely by all employees of the pharmacy while you are pharmacist on duty. · Customer Service - ensure our customers receive the very best service and work directly with patients and staff to resolve all customer complaints in a timely manner while you are pharmacist on duty · Personnel Management - ensure all staff are following company policy, procedure, and best practices while you are pharmacists on duty. · Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned.
