We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team; Solid Experience working in a build and execution capacity within AWS Cloud Services. 12 + years of relevant IT experience Hands-on experience with automating cloud native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure via code. Collaborate with platform engineering squads to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability through the implementation of DevOps & SRE type practices. Design, implement, and maintain automation software to continuous integrate, deploy, monitor, and respond to incidents, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Develop and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using differing tools and software, ensuring consistent and reproducible infrastructure deployments. Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues, optimizing platform performance and reliability. Lead efforts to establish and improve monitoring and alerting systems, utilizing tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, to identify and address platform performance issues proactively. Conduct post-incident reviews, analyse system failures, and implement preventative measures to mitigate future incidents. Collaborate with security teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipelines, platform, and applications. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents promptly, working towards resolution and contributing to the continuous improvement of system reliability. Participate in on-call rotations, responding to incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
