REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor or Master degree combined with 8+ years of experience in a senior product role at a D2C company focusing on the core feature experiences with proven success through measurable impact;
• Growth and experiment-driven mindset with a proven ability to execute and deliver results;
• Deep understanding of unit/business economics and proven ability to balance business and technical considerations for product decisions;
• Ability to make quick and effective decisions in a fast-paced environment;
• Super analytical: proven experience in using data and relevant tools for driving critical business outcomes;
• Technical: Strong understanding of how applications are built, ability to participate in technical decisions, ability to read basic code and write SQL queries;
• Experience in quickly launching products on a regular basis in an agile environment with a track record of delivering products on time and with high quality.
• Great eye for UX and understanding of its related metrics.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, strong attention to detail, able to work independently, able to mentor and coach others, contributing to the larger team to help upskill, providing input drive process improvements
• Fluent in tools like ‘iterable’, ‘hubspot for running in-app campaigns and email marketing while AB testing (bonus).

  The job requires leading the product strategy, its roadmap and end-to-end implementation, working to deliver a top performing workflow by using data, creativity, intuition and innovative thinking. Since this person will be collaborating cross functionally with employees across Canada + the USA, English is a requirement for the role.
  As detailed in the job description, this job involves communicating, both verbally and in writing, with other teams located across Canada and the United States and with our international clients and partners. Based on an evaluation, we have determined that the duties of the Staff Product Manager’s position require knowledge of English in addition to French (oral and written). We also determined that the English language skills already required of other employees do not permit the performance of English language skills tasks related to this position.
  However, in Québec, BetterSleep limits as much as possible the number of positions for which it requires the knowledge of another language than French. BetterSleep solely requires proficiency in English where it is necessary for the performance of an employee’s duties.

• Developing and implementing product strategy that drives user conversion;
• Analyzing user data to identify opportunities for funnel optimization;
• Build the onboarding strategy and user journey to optimize user experience and conversion;
• Utilize A/B testing to optimize the user journey;
• Track and analyze user data; use analytics to monitor and measure the performance ;
• Working with cross-functional teams to design and develop new funnel pages;
• Developing and implementing KPIs and metrics to measure success and user engagement;
• Collaborating with the engineering team, marketing and design teams to ensure user experience and product quality;
• Connecting with users to understand their needs and feedback and incorporating them into the product;
• Maintaining a competitive understanding of the digital landscape and proactively identifying changes and trends in the market.
