Overview The Staff Research Scientist will conduct research in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) method development and its application to human disease. Responsibilities 1. Develop research protocols for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).2. Develop data acquisition methods for MRI.3. Develop data processing methods for MRI.4. Stay abreast of information and new technologies related to MRI.5. Apply methods to the study of living cells and organisms.6. Work together with faculty, fellows, and students at the Kennedy Krieger Institute.7. Participate in publishing papers and/or articles based on the research. Qualifications EDUCATION:• Master’s degree in physics, engineering, chemistry, medical imaging, or related field required.• Doctoral degree highly desirable. EXPERIENCE:• Minimum two years of research experience required, preferably in experimental magnetic resonance.• Experience writing scientific papers required.• Experience working together in a scientific setting is required. Minimum pay range USD $56,157.50/Yr. Maximum pay range USD $97,597.76/Yr.
