Bilingual Assistant (Japanese or Korean/English) – UC Irvine Digital Health and AI Research Lab (UCIPT)
The University of California Institute for Prediction Technology (UCIPT), affiliated with UC Irvine, is seeking a Bilingual Assistant (Japanese or Koean/English) to support a Principal Investigator Research Professor in research projects on digital health interventions, artificial intelligence, and music applications for health. The bilingual nature is needed to support research projects, content, and develop with Japanese and Korean colleagues.
Responsibilities
Support the production of content for social media (Instagram) and podcasts, including video and audio editing; Use AI tools to optimize marketing and scientific dissemination content; Assist in writing abstracts and proposals for raising research funding; Participate in meetings with students, researchers, and stakeholders, assisting in communication and organization; Develop institutional and scientific presentations (PowerPoint); Manage meeting scheduling and administrative support; Support the production of audiovisual content for the Young and Hungry K-12 podcast.
Requirements Fluency in Japanese and English (oral and written); Experience in creating content for social media (Instagram, podcasts, video and audio editing); Knowledge of AI tools applied to content production; Proficiency in PowerPoint and editing tools (CapCut or similar); Familiarity with technologies such as ChatGPT.
