Responsibilities
Expertise in integrated IC system design for transmitter large-signal generation in a wireless communication chip, especially on GaN, GaAs, BULK CMOS, and/or SOI CMOS, and/or SiGe BiCMOS processes.
Must have solid foundations and backgrounds in advanced RF circuit techniques and circuit architectures, including PA, Driver, VGA, Frequency Multiplier (Doubler, Tripler, and Quadrupler), LO Buffer, Up-Conversion Mixer, Phase Shifter, High-Efficiency Load-Pull Matching Network, and Back-off Efficiency Enhancement Circuitry.
A proven track record of exceptional performance in the field of RF circuits engineering is required, with expertise in nonlinear AM-AM & AM-PM cancellation, deep-back-off efficiency enhancement, and load VSWR-resilient output network in RF TX architecture designs.
Proficient in IC designs and simulations in Cadence, ADS, and HFSS design environments.
Proficiency in producing design schematics, simulation, and RF & analog layout methodologies is necessary.
Professional and cooperative attitude for working closely with design teams.
Engage in IC testing evaluation and work with customers on performance requirements.
Further expertise or skills in large-scale phased array transceiver architecture or beamforming techniques will be a plus.
At Emtar, we pride ourselves on having a team of exceptional engineers. Our team consists of leading technical, engineering, and production experts, all dedicated to solving the most challenging problems in RF transceiver chipset and MIMO front-end module development.
