Job Address: 20611 Euclid Ave Cleveland, OH 44117 Job Title: Scheduler Location: Cleveland, Ohio Facility Type: Residential Detox & Substance Use Disorder Treatment The Role The Staffing Scheduler is a critical operational role responsible for creating, maintaining, and adjusting staff schedules to ensure safe, compliant, and fully staffed operations within a residential detox and substance use disorder treatment setting. This position works closely with leadership, clinical teams, and support staff to ensure appropriate coverage across all shifts. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate schedules for clinical, nursing, and support staff Ensure staffing levels meet regulatory, licensure, and acuity requirements Manage schedule changes related to call-offs, PTO, leaves, and shift swaps Coordinate coverage for open shifts, including overtime and per diem staff as needed Communicate schedule updates clearly and promptly to staff and leadership Track attendance, overtime, and staffing patterns to support operational planning Collaborate with department leaders to forecast staffing needs Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling personnel information Ensure schedules are accurately documented in scheduling and timekeeping systems Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Prior experience in healthcare scheduling, staffing coordination, or workforce management preferred Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment strongly preferred RequirementsMust be 21 years of age or older Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple schedules in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with scheduling software and basic computer applications Who We Are Ethan’s Crossing is dedicated to inspiring hope and delivering holistic care to individuals affected by substance use and behavioral health disorders.
