Staff SDET (Software Development Engineer in Tests)

ABOUT THE PROJECT

We are looking for experienced Staff SDET for our client, one of the largest banks in Great Britain based in London.
These people will join an agile, Polish-British team that will be responsible for the development of one of the key products - a platform built based on the BaaS approach.
Location: Remote (2 times a month in the office in Warsaw)

REQUIREMENTS

• Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills.
• Deep expertise in test methodologies and tools, including automated test frameworks, mocking, stubbing, and modern testing tools.
• Hands-on technical experience with a proficiency in Java, back-end test automation frameworks, and integrating these into continuous deployment pipelines.
• Specialist knowledge in performance and security testing with experience in software performance testing, automated security testing techniques, and associated tooling.
• Proven ability leading and guiding Quality Engineers to define and achieve goals.
• Awareness of cloud infrastructure and configuration (Nice to have).
• Experience in Event Driven Architecture (Nice to have).

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure our products deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Work across our technology missions to develop intelligent testing approaches, leveraging automation and cutting-edge testing solutions.
• Partner with customer-focused agile squads, product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Design and implement scalable automated testing systems that enable us to deliver value to customers rapidly and reliably.
• Shape the direction of our testing chapter by collaborating with technology leaders.
• Write clean, elegant, and reusable code, ensuring it is maintainable and extendable.
• Support fellow engineers in testing their software, acting as the go-to expert in testing best practices.
